There is only The Pact. The year is 2012, and the criminal organization known as The Pact has taken over life as we know it. They have made mutants and humans alike their subjects and, when they wish it, their slaves. Some come willingly for the power, others are pressed into service as needed. The former X-Men, Brotherhood and more have united to form the Mutant Liberation Front. They are hiding underground and working to find a way to overthrow their new masters. AgeOfDawn*: The Golden Age is long past, the Time of Trials is over, and the Age of Dawn has come. Society is changed as is the world that spawned it. Mutants have become the majority, the ones who are adaptable enough to survive in the harsh new climates. The more visible the mutation, the higher one's standing. Mutants are not forced to hide, and humans suffer in this strange new world where so many have evolved beyond them. This is an alternate future X-Men game with a post apocalyptic, steampunk kind of vibe. We have a strong established universe that's definitely something out of the ordinary. Formerly Xmen_the_rpg. AmazingBouncingFerret: A Harry Potter roleplaying game with a focus on slash and strangeness. There will be adult, oddball themes addressed here (in the past, we've hit mpreg, familial love - you know what I mean, non-con, etc.). Please note that although slash is the norm, het is also welcome. The game is set during year six (for Harry, Ron, Hermione, etc.) and knowledge of the books is not required, though it may help you get a feel for some characters which are underrepresented in the films. This is a freeform list, and it is up to individual players to decide whether they prefer their focus to be on romance or story or a nice mix of both. Instructors, family, and students are all welcome to join in the fun, so all characters are welcome. Please do not ask to join if you do not intend to be a contributing player. The list is open to active members only - no lurkers allowed. Angel_in_LA* : An RPG based on the WB series Angel. Connor has returned from the hell dimension and the gang is facing whole new realms of evil. The game restarted as of post #8347. Pick a character, make one up, or bring one back from the dead and join. The rules are simple and will be sent to you when you subscribe. There will be sensuality (both het *and* slash) and violence. BetterUnsaid: The game is set in a juvenille detention hall called Rivendell. These kids are not all true criminals. Some are merely... deviant. The instructors and staff put themselves at risk on a daily basis to try and help Rivendell's inhabitants. Some do it for selfless reasons, some are only in it to reap whatever benefits they can from the situation. The students are a motley mix of the condemned, the depraved, and those who couldn't care less where they are as long as they can get their next fix. A killer is stalking Rivendell's halls. He has already killed the previous head of medicine and sliced up one of the students. Who will be his next victim? EternalKiss: Vampires have taken control. Far from foolish, they realize that humans are their food source, but they will no longer allow the mere mortals to control them. Having overwhelmed the human majority, vampires slowly built their numbers while retaining humans in camps and private blood banks. Humans are bred carefully to insure the continued presence of their favorite foood source. Will you be a vampiric overlord? A bloodsucker understanding of the human plight? One of the enslaved human captives? Impending_X-Men: A group dedicated to the future X-Men, children of the original X-Men (or any of the other related groups--Xcalibur, Brotherhood, Hellfire Club, etc.). The next generation of X-Men are fighting to master their skills and find their place in their parents' legacy. The Hellions, descendants of the original Hellfire Club, are plotting to make sure the world knows who really holds the power. Formerly Impending_x-men_rpg. Mayhem_yaoi_rpg*: The planet is known only as Project 5. It is not on any known star maps, and there is no one in apparent charge of it. None of the planet's occupants were born there, and no species of plants or wildlife seem native or unique to it. Rather, all aspects of life on Project 5 seem to be stolen from other words and placed together in an almost random array. The planet itself is small, the size of most moons, and there are suspicions that it may not be organic in its creation. There seems no rhyme or reason to the people brought to the planet's surface. They were simply thrown there, stranded in the wilderness or in the many constructed towns scattered across the planet. There are bustling cities with restaurants, shops, brothels, and anything else a tourist might want and frontier towns that are little more than a tavern and an inn. Some of the people working in these establishments are transplants from other worlds, some say nothing of their origins and it is presumed that they work for Project 5 in some capacity. If they know the origin of the planet or why people are being transported to it, they aren't talking. Characters from all forms of anime, reasonably mature video games (i.e. no Sonic the Hedgehog), manga, etc. are welcome. This is a yaoi only game (m/m pairings). Content will be graphic both in terms of sensuality and violence, so keep that in mind when joining. MutantBedlam: As the "Mutant Menace" takes hold of the country, people struggle with how to solve this latest security threat. Their solution? Forcing those "afflicted" with the X-Gene into institutions, locked out of sight, out of mind. Formerly MutantHigh. NextGenHogwarts*: It has been twenty-three years since the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A whole new generation of students are entering Hogwarts to make their way in the magical world. Are you one of the students mastering their magical skills, an instructor hoping to shape these young minds, or a villain looking to upset the peace that has fallen on the wizarding world? Spoilers for the book will abound here, so please keep that in mind. RomanX*: Ancient Rome boasted a system of entertainment unlike any other. In this alternate universe, things have been taken a step further. Mutant gladiators are pitted against each other in a battle for survival and sold as slaves to the highest bidder. Some accept their fate quietly... and some are a bit more spirited. Do you have the courage to own one of these beautiful, terrible creatures, or are you a mutant fighting to stay alive? SerpentsTail: The city of New Orleans is a place filled with magic and mystery. Supernatural beings of all types and descriptions congregate there whether through intentional migration or some mystical undercurrent that draws them in. Beneath the tourist trade and the faux supernatural tours is a real world of forces beyond the understanding of many humans. Strange factions are warring, fighting for dominance in a world that refuses to acknowledge their existence. TheTrojanDress: Adventure, romance, and fun on the high seas! This play by email game is set about a month after Curse of the Black Pearl. Jack is free to sail the seas and Will and Elizabeth have gone their separate ways. The world moves ever forward and there are new mysteries around every corner. You can sign on as a swashbuckling pirate, work to take over the world with the East India Trading Company, or have a quiet normal life in Port Royal. XMutantSlaveTradeX: An X-Men RPG where mutants fall prey to the humans in a vicious cycle of contention for superiority and revenge. Mutants are second class citizens, slaves to their human masters. They are used for pleasure, for labor, for whatever task their masters set out for them. Will you be a willing slave, a cruel master, or an innocent bystander?
