Just wanted to comment on Max Beesley. Myself and two girlfriends were on holiday in Venice, February 6th - 10th 2001. While there we stayed in on Lido. We bumped into Max Beesley and several other famous people. David Schwimmer, Jason Isaac, Selma Hayek, Edward Norton (What a JERK!) and Reese (can't remember his surname but he was Spike in Nottinghill) to name a few, there were many more.

It would appear, or we were told that they were making a movie, called "Hotel." I presume it was in reference to the old Italian, beautiful hotel they were staying at on Lido.

I wanted to comment on the fact that, while I tried and succeeded on many occasions to catch all the "famous folks" on video. The one person who obliged the entire crowd was Max Beesley, and he did so with a smile and eagerness.

On the 8th February, we went to dinner. As we went into the restaurant, Max Beesley, David Schwimmer, Reese, Jason Isaac and a few others were there. Only them and us. As we did not want to cause a scene we just let them be.

One of my friends had a steak and it was monstrous, not to mention undercooked. As it arrived in front of her, Reese walked by and made a comment, "What the f**k is that!" We all laughed and a conversation began from there. It was then that Reese told us Max was from Manchester, where one of my friends has lived most of her life. He called Max over. Max sat down and we had a long talk. We even know mutual people.

What a lucky girl Mel B is. He is a lovely and brilliant guy. He is not phoney and his popularity has not went to his head. He is an absolutely on the level person. Max signed autographs for each of our three girls (12!), without hesitation. Max then encourage Jason Isaac and David Schwimmer to do the same, which they did.

SO, if anyone is interested, take it from some local girls from East Sussex, Maxton Beesley is a DIAMOND Babes! (As Max would say!)

when he was on tour with Paul Weller !!!! He was playing percussion and we waited ages at the back of the event in Guildford and when they finally let us in to talk to Paul, I asked him where teh gorgeous percussionist was, and Paul says" he's on the coach go and find him" so I went off and found him on the tour coach (real plush) and we chatted for a while - that was about 8-10 yeatrs ago, but when I saw him with Robbie Williams this evening at Knebworth (on Channel4) I knew it was him - looked him up and yep.

I just wanted to tell you that I to met Max Beesley yesterday (December 11th 2003) at Melbourne Airport. He was there with Robbie Williams and Co whilst Robbie is doing his Australian tour. He was lovely, he signed an autograph for me, we had our picture taken and he is an absolute star. A real treasure.

You could not wish to meet a nicer, more friendly person. I was well impressed and can't wait to see him on stage again in Sydney!!!!

hey if you are interested i met max last thursday, he was on the airport in katowice where robbie was playing his gig. I went to the airport and saw him sitting in the front seat of the mercedes. No1 recognize him, only me, i was screaming and shouting, then i jumped into him thru the car window, i asked him to pass greetings to robbie, he was very cheeky all the time, he was answering "yeah babe" "i will babe", and he said he feels very sexuall ang he is gonna to show this sexuality during the gig. The funny story was that he noticed me during the show, i was in the first row, he pointed at me and his face was asking: ohh is this you, this crazy chick who just shagged me, hehehehe and i just nodded, he pay the smile back, lool, he looked really gorgeous and he had very warm and soft hands ! and no1 in poland knows wo max beesley is, ahh and of course he gave me an autograph with "lots of love"
